The provision of any information about research participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the privacy and / or security of personal information, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.

Authors must obtain written confirmation of research consent from the named organizations or individuals before submitting their work.

For non-interventional research (e.g. polls, questionnaires, social media research), all participants should be fully informed if anonymity is guaranteed, why the research is being conducted, how their data will be used, and whether there are associated risks.

If your application makes inaccurate, unsubstantiated, or emotional statements about organizations or people, we may ask you to change the text or reject the work prior to publication.

Criticism and reviews of products and services are acceptable, but comments should be constructive and not malicious. If claims made in a published work are found to be defamatory, a revocation policy will be applied. In some cases and when required by law, the article will be removed from the online version of the journal.

We advise all case study authors to report this to an entity (person or organization) and obtain their consent. If the editor considers that the study is potentially defamatory or contains confidential information, it will require written confirmation of consent before submitting the manuscript to the production process.
